1. Recognize your need...

Everyone is searching for some sort of satisfaction out of life. God says that He made us each for a special purpose. Sadly, because of our sin, we are separated from God. We wander through life trying to fill the void that only God, the Creator, can fulfill. But, we are all guilty of sin and there are inevitable consequences that are due. [Romans 3:23; 6:23]

2. Jesus is the Answer...

'Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me' [John 14:6; emphasis added]. See, God knows all about our sin problem. He knew before we were ever created that we would have this problem. So, He sent His perfect, sinless son to brutally die in our place in order to 'pay' the penalty for our sins...my sins...your sins.

3. Believe and Be Saved...

'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.' [John 3:16 Emphasis added] Can it really be that simple? The good news is that it is that simple! The word 'believe' here means, to trust in, to rely upon, to completely hold to. Have you done that? Saying 'I believe' and actually believing can be two different things. Trust in Jesus and you will be saved, guaranteed.

4. The Big Step...

“whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” [Romans 10:13] Call on Him! If you REALIZE these truths deep inside your very being, call out to God and ask Him to save you. Know that Jesus really did die for you; He really did rise from the dead and is alive today in heaven waiting for you to call on Him to save you. Right now, where you are...call upon the name of the LORD. You will be forgiven and will live forever with God. That's Good News!

5. What Now...

Did you do it? Are you saved? If so, welcome to the family! Now you will want to learn and grow to be like the Lord who saved you. You should have a desire to know everything about Him. How can you do that? Read the Bible. This book is God's letter to you about who He really is and what He wants from you. Finding a healthy, Bible teaching church is a very good way to learn and grow and worship the God who loves you so much.

If you are still undecided and haven't accepted Christ, this may help.
