YOU’VE BEEN SERVED

YOU’VE BEEN SERVED has a double meaning. We all know that it’s usual not a good thing when someone tells us that “You’ve Been Served” because it’s usually is accompanied by papers telling us to appear in court. And on the flip side “You’ve Been Served” is a phrase we might say when we do something for another person.

Now when we search the Scriptures, we can see that God tells us “You’ve Been Served” by providing the ultimate service through His son Jesus Christ. But, then he commands us to “Serve” others, therefore, we can say to others, “You’ve Been Served”.

Are you doing your part? Are you actively serving others through ministry? Can you consistently say “You’ve Been Served”?

As Christians, we should be striving to walk as closely with Christ as possible. But what happens when we start letting the things of this world influence us? We start to become “diluted” and lose our effectiveness of living a life of Holiness.
