The book of Galatians is dynamite. It is an explosion of joy and freedom.
Why? Because it brings us face to face with the gospel. It’s very common in Christian circles to assume that “the gospel” is something mainly for non-Christians. We see it as a set of basic “ABC” doctrines that are the way in which someone enters the kingdom of God. We often assume that once we’re converted, we don’t need to hear or study or understand the gospel—we need more “advanced” material. But in this short letter, Paul outlines the bombshell truth that the gospel is the A to Z of the Christian life. It is not only the way to enter the kingdom, it is the way to live as part of the kingdom.
Paul unpacks the truth that Jesus + Nothing = Everything.
Muscles, money, and motors. These are all common ideas of manhood. But, what does it mean to be a real man? You’re invited to this new series, where we’ll look at what God has to say about manhood and how it makes a difference for both men and women. Join us for our series MAN UP.

Join us for our series “BIG QUESTIONS. REAL ANSWERS.”
The affirmation “Keep Calm and Carry On” originated in a morale campaign in Great Britain in the build up to World War Two. These days, however, the phrase has become part of popular culture.
This series looks at ancient concepts that are ever new. Practical, in-depth, and thoroughly biblical, “How to Keep Calm and Carry On” will challenge your mind and comfort your heart.
According to Jesus, the entire Bible can be summed up in just a few words:
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” — Matthew 22:37-40
Then elsewhere, we read of a man who asks Jesus who his neighbor is as if to somehow get out of loving some people. He was comfortable being able to show love to a few people, and he wanted to narrow his circle of love down to the ones closest to him.
Our problem is exactly the opposite of this man’s problem. Our problem is that we know Jesus doesn’t want us to narrow our circle of love, so we expand it so wide it includes the whole world, and then, we get this warm feeling inside us as we fool ourselves into thinking we love the whole world when in reality, our notion of “love” is so vague that it’s practically meaningless and never prompts us to action.
But what if Jesus meant something more specific and practical? What if he meant we were supposed to actually love people? And what if, I know this is radical, what if he actually wanted us to love our neighbors!? Yeah, the people who live right next to us!
What does it mean to be a good neighbor the way Jesus would have us be good neighbors? Join us here at Cornerstone for our series “Like a Good Neighbor”.

YOU’VE BEEN SERVED has a double meaning. We all know that it’s usual not a good thing when someone tells us that “You’ve Been Served” because it’s usually is accompanied by papers telling us to appear in court. And on the flip side “You’ve Been Served” is a phrase we might say when we do something for another person.
Now when we search the Scriptures, we can see that God tells us “You’ve Been Served” by providing the ultimate service through His son Jesus Christ. But, then he commands us to “Serve” others, therefore, we can say to others, “You’ve Been Served”.
Are you doing your part? Are you actively serving others through ministry? Can you consistently say “You’ve Been Served”?
